The spirits are local and not too strong. Beer pouring is easy, set the tap flowing full, wait a second then put your angled glass under it and ease the flow at the end to create a head. Get a pint glass from the bar near the restaurant as you enter for evening meal and its a lot easier than the silly small glasses provided. Search out the KREA one it has much nicer coffee with milk. Does it get monotonous maybe a little but name me any restaurant where you eat 3 meals a day for a solid week that isn't? The coffee machines are everywhere. For the sweet tooth person there was delicious cakes and always some sort of hot dessert. Not difficult when you have soup starters and a wide selection of meats: beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish cooked everyway you can think of plus smoked salmon and sushi. We both found something to eat at EVERY meal time. I don't eat fish and the wife does but is equally fussy what she eats. They can also dance too! Food is very important to me and here it is really nice they work really hard to mix up the menu. It's so nice to see them actually sing and not just mime along. Jasmine and her team are so enthusiatic and talented. The entertainment is of good quality with a few guest acts (Flamenco / Swing) plus the in house TUI entertainer. The hairdryer is feeble so if you need one take your own. The air con is weak but we got a fan from reception and that helped. Our room was 8D and was a one bedroom apartment which had everything you could need including a fully equipped kitchen. It also shows all the entertainment program and allows you to take part in the quizzes etc. (not the one that you book holidays on but the one on the sign in reception.) From that app you can book the ala carte (The Taverna) which is on the seafront. Its very important that you download the TUI app. On arrival booking in is efficient and you get given a hotel map which has vital info on the rear. Reception is not huge and Tarkesh is a star who was very helpful. The hotel flows gently down hill from the road to the sea with a few steps but also ramps so access is not difficult. This hotel is officially a 3 star but TUI 4 star and its as good as a 4 star for sure. (And again special praise for the Baby Club!)… Thanks for a great holiday and some fantastic memories. I can understand that it might get busy in the height of summer but out of school holiday was perfect for us. TUI have different brands and we went into one of their shops to ask which would be best. Kids seemed to have a great time and not terrible for adults! Would I go here as a couple, probably not, it is a very family oriented hotel which means it’s quiet but that’s perfect for us. Our one year old didn’t allow us to enjoy the entertainment other than one night but it was great. They were very caring and gave a real sense of trust. Sandra, Paulina and especially Alexandra were fantastic. Beer is Tropical, lots of other hard and soft drinks available. There is a snack bar for when you just need something and there are plenty of drinks stations with a great selection. Would probably benefit from a couple more drinks stations but not the end of the world. Lots of staff so very clean and a lot of ikea baby chairs. The food there was good but to be honest the main restaurant food offered great choice and variety. There is a short walk down to the beach front with a few shops and the a la carte restaurant. Access was amazing, ramps everywhere which made it very easy for our buggy. They were always clean and had plenty of toys about for kids to share. The resort itself is not too big but has 6 pools including 3 shallow for younger children. The cot was set up on arrival which was a great relief. The rooms are spacious and well designed. It is the perfect holiday for a young family. We knew we wanted a kid friendly location and selected this hotel based on flight times. I booked a last minute holiday for my wife and 1 year old baby.
